Could I get a bachelors degree in political science then be a police officer?

I want to eventually be an attorney, but I would also like to be a cop in the mean time.
So could I get a bachelors degree in something like political science, (or something I could turn into a law degree.) then go to the police academy straight from there? and then eventually go to law school and become an attorney?
Like would all that work out?
